The Client Brief

Our client needed a complete kitchen overhaul. His current kitchen was outdated and lacked both functionality and style. Our client wanted something fresh, clean in keeping with his location. He wanted the kitchen room to feel larger, more open and needed a layout that was more in keeping the contemporary style he was after. 

The Challenge

A new kitchen layout needed to be created that was more contemporary and offering a higher level of functionality. 

The Design Solution

An island kitchen design was created to give the space a more contemporary look and feel. A wall was dedicated to appliance and storage for consumables. All white cabinetry matched seamlessly to wall colours kept the space feeling light and open. A freestanding oven/stove combination was installed to free up counter space for cooking and meal preparation. Opting for floating shelves rather than wall cabinetry kept the space feeling light and airy, allowing the cooktop, rangehood and emerald splashback tiles to take centre stage.  

The Result

A fresh, contemporary kitchen renovation with a nod to nature, featuring custom timber island bench and floating shelves. The new kitchen is now light, airy, with an efficient layout that maxmises both storage and functionality.  ​
