The Client Brief

Our clients were relocating to a new apartment in the heart of the Drummoyne Sydney with a lovely views and all the advantages of inner city living. The apartment offered everything they wanted in terms of location but needed an update to reflect their style and personal taste. 

The Challenge

Our client's exsiting kitchen was small, dated, had limited storage and was seperated from the main living area by three walls. The apartment floor plan although large was narrow in shape - the challenge was to create a larger kitchen without impeding on the floor space of the adjacent living and dining rooms. We needed to balance out the living areas and still deliver a larger kitchen with enough functionality to work in comfortably and create greater storage our clients' needed. 

The Design Solution

The removal of three key walls opened up the kitchen to adjacent living areas. The new kitchen was designed 'galley style' to help maximise living space and provide our client with greater functionality, storage and an open flow between living areas. An area for casual dining was created, which doubled as prep space for cooking. Beautiful custom cabinetry with clear glass doors was designed to display decor items creating visual interest, and matching the kitchen joinery for a more seamless look. 

The Result

A beautiful, contemporary apartment renovation comprising of a kitchen renovation, custom joinery solutions including, luxury walk-in robe, custom wardrobes & TV entertainment unit. The kitchen renovation has elevated the entire living space in both form and function, and our clients now have a complete intergrated living space they can truly enjoy and entertainin in.
