The Client Brief
The team at Balnei & Colina loved working on this kitchen and laundry renovation for our wonderful client in Sydney! Her vision? To create a kitchen that wasn't just beautiful but also packed with functionality. She dreamed of a space where everything was within reach and at the perfect height. And with a breezy coastal vibe in mind, we couldn’t wait to bring her vision to life!
The Challenge
Let’s be real: a compact kitchen with limited natural light? This project was a design puzzle waiting to be solved! We love a good challenge, and knew that with the right approach, we could transform this space into a stunning and cheerful hub of activity.
The Design Solution
Our design team introduced innovative storage solutions that maximised every inch of the kitchen, and even found room for a cozy laundry nook. With an increased number of drawers, we ensured that every pot, pan, and kitchen gadget had its place. Guess what? We boosted storage capacity by an astonishing 35%!
Embracing a neutral colour palette, we created a delightful contrast against the dark flooring, giving the illusion of a much larger space. The stunning glass splashback with its reflective beauty added an airy feel, while V-groove cabinetry injected a playful touch that perfectly complemented the coastal theme our client desired.
The Result
A charming coastal-style kitchen that’s not just a feast for the eyes but brimming with clever storage solutions. A timeless, understated kitchen design where our client can whip up culinary delights with ease and joy. This space has truly transformed into a vibrant sanctuary that she loves to call her own.
