The Client Brief

Transforming spaces is our passion, and we loved revitalising the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry for our wonderful client in Ashfield, Sydney! Her once tired and impractical areas were begging for a fresh start. With the vision of enhancing functionality while staying true to the charming character of her beloved home, she dreamed of a renovation that radiated a soft, feminine colour palette—one that echoed her unique style and personality.

The Challenge

Every great adventure has its hurdles, and our biggest challenge here was the compact laundry area. It needed a clever redesign to turn it from cramped to captivating.

The Design Solution

In the laundry, we installed a smart washer/dryer combo tucked neatly beneath the counter, freeing up valuable workspace for all everyday laundry tasks. A floor-to-ceiling utility cabinet was designed to elegantly conceal cleaning supplies while maximising storage. Wall and base cabinets were added to elevate organisation and efficiency.

But wait, the kitchen was where we truly let our creativity run wild! A grand entertainer's island with open cabinets flanking each side is perfect for displaying beautiful kitchenware. An under-mount rangehood gives the room that sleek, seamless vibe we all love. Shaker cabinetry in the delightful hue of Dulux Candela added just the right touch of colour without overpowering the room.

In the bathroom, the floor was tiled with octagon mosaics, and classic subway tiles graced the bathroom walls, marrying modern flair with timeless tradition, seamlessly complementing the heritage style of the home.

The Result

Stunning spaces that are not just functional but also filled with personality! The traditional-style cabinetry and subtle colour palette created a harmonious ambience throughout our client's home, reflecting her unique taste and celebrating the home's charm. Every corner now exudes joy and inspiration—proof that any space can be transformed into a dream haven!
