The Client Brief

Working on this kitchen has been an honour, a journey filled with creativity and collaboration! Our client approached us with a cramped, cluttered kitchen in desperate need of renovation. She envisioned a vibrant and functional kitchen and living space where she'd feel happy working and living.

The Challenge

With the freedom to knock down walls, we faced one key challenge: keeping the existing doorways and windows in place. We embraced this challenge and our mission to design a functional, stunning kitchen layout that harmonised perfectly with the home's established features.

The Design Solution

We decided to wave goodbye to the constraining walls, knocking down three to open up the space and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A fabulous g-shaped layout emerged, complete with a cozy spot for casual dining. Maximising storage was a must, so we installed gorgeous floor-to-ceiling cabinetry on one side of the kitchen to house all her essentials and consumables while opting for floating shelves and a striking feature range on the other. This combo kept the kitchen light and airy, making it feel more spacious without sacrificing style. Neutral tones brought a soft breezy feel to the design, giving the illusion of endless space, while pops of wood tones via the floating shelves and stylish counter stools gave the space some warmth. We carefully rendered the walls and levelled the floors, ensuring a quality finish. To top it off, we laid down beautiful timber hardwood flooring, creating a stunning contrast against the fresh white kitchen. Slim shaker doors added a dash of character, perfectly aligning with our client's desire for a modern yet timeless look.

The Result

This transformation resulted in a gorgeous modern classic kitchen that's as functional as it is beautiful. Our client's joy is contagious—she now thrives in her new space, whipping up culinary delights and creating memories with loved ones. It's more than just a kitchen; it’s a vibrant reflection of her personality and love for cooking!
