The Client Brief

We are so proud to have been a part of this kitchen renovation project for our wonderful client in Bondi Beach, Sydney. Our client's kitchen was outdated and in need of renovation. The brief for her kitchen renovation in Bondi included a 'fresh coastal' look, a more open feel and greater storage to meet the needs of her growing family. 

The Challenge

To create a new kitchen layout that felt 'beachy' and contemporary, with substantially more storage, but that still felt open and airy. 

The Design Solution

Custom white V-groove cabinetry was used throughout to support the coastal feel our client wanted. A new layout was devised that allowed for more than one person to comfortably work within the kitchen simultaneously. A larger island was installed to maximise counter space for entertaining and food prep. The custom kitchen cabinets were extended to full height, increasing the storage capacity of the new kitchen. The new kitchen design allocated one central wall for most of the kitchen storage - wall cabinets were removed from the right wall making the new kitchen feel more airy and open, as per our client's brief. A hard-working countertop surface material was chosen for the family to ensure low maintenance and easy cleaning - the warm tones and veining throughout reflect the local area and complement this kitchen renovation's coastal look and feel. 

The Result

A beautiful fresh coastal kitchen renovation that perfectly echoes the local surroundings. This kitchen has plenty of storage and features surfaces and materials that perfectly suit this family's needs and style preferences.
