The Client Brief
We were honoured to work on this kitchen and laundry project for our client and her family! Our wonderful client envisioned a space that beautifully marries the charm of Hamptons style with a fresh, modern twist. Her goal was to make the space feel warm and inviting. She wanted her new kitchen and laundry design to be functional, allow for the needs of her growing family over time, and reflect her personal taste.
The Challenge
Balnei & Colina needed an ultra-smooth and efficient process to adhere to and meet the strict builder's timeline. Introducing distinctive design elements aligned with the client's vision while maintaining a timeless aesthetic was essential.
The Design Solution
We expanded the kitchen footprint to create an inviting and dynamic kitchen, allowing for a seamless flow with the living areas and a layout that could adapt to their family's growing needs over time. We designed a stunning new island that is the perfect hub for casual dining and gatherings, featuring a Steccawood barback for visual interest. A cozy coffee station was introduced alongside designated areas for small electrical appliances, ensuring daily routines are carried out with minimum effort and maximum efficiency.
We added custom pull-out baskets in the laundry area, cleverly hiding laundry from sight. A hanging rod was included for easy air-drying, while a playful custom open cabinet area was crafted just for their beloved cat, complete with storage for litter—a purr-fect touch!
The Result
The result was nothing short of magical. As always, the Balnei & Colina renovation process was smooth and timely, ensuring all deadlines were met and the project was delivered on time and within budget. The resulting spaces echoed the beloved Hamptons style with a modern flair, warmth, and practicality. This kitchen and laundry transformation is a lively, vibrant heart of the home, a place where family and friends can gather comfortably and create wonderful memories.
