The Client Brief

Our client's current kitchen layout was not functional and not in keeping with her style preference. Open space, room to move and classic styling formed part of the kitchen and bathroom and ensuite brief.  Our client also felt that their shower in the main bath was too small making it uncomfortable to shower in. 

The Challenge

A door to the rear of the kitchen was impeding traffic flow within the kitchen room and reduced the amount of functional space. We needed to revise the bathroom layout to allow for a larger shower and ensure other zones within the bathroom were not compromised and still remained functional.

The Design Solution

The door impeding movement in the kitchen space was re-located to allow for a larger dining nook to better cater for casual dining and entertaining. The more functional kitchen layout also created much-needed counter space for food prep and small appliance storage. The bathroom was completely redesigned to allow not only for a larger shower but for a larger bath.

The Result

A beautiful functional kitchen, bathroom, and ensuite renovation in keeping with our client's personal taste. The new kitchen layout is now more functional with greater storage and counterspace for food preparation. By relocating a door we were able to create a more spacious kitchen renovation with plenty of space for casual dining. The newly renovated bathroom feels more spacious with more room for bathing and showering just as our client wanted.
