The Client Brief

Working alongside the talented Sarah Simpson, our local interior design star, was an absolute delight as we embarked on a fabulous kitchen renovation in Redfern! Our creative journey began with our client's vision: to transform a dated space into a contemporary oasis where our clients could whip up culinary delights and host friends and family with ease.

The Challenge

As we dove into the project, we faced a compact kitchen footprint that needed some serious innovation! Our mission? To craft a modern, stylish layout that maximises floor space while offering ample storage and prep areas for everything from casual meals to grand dinner parties.

The Design Solution

We rolled up our sleeves and got to work, extending the kitchen on the far side to unlock additional storage and counter space. The real game changer? Reorienting the kitchen island to create the perfect workflow that promotes seamless interaction - perfect for chatting with guests while whipping up a feast! Sarah brought her magic touch with earthy tones, incorporating light timber veneer on tall cabinets that contrast beautifully with elegant grey stone counters, splashback, and crisp white cabinetry.

The Result

We unveiled a stunning entertainer's kitchen that embodies functionality and flair, offering plenty of storage and a sleek, refined aesthetic. Our clients are absolutely thrilled, and we cannot wait to see the memories they create in this gorgeous space. Cheers to new adventures in cooking and entertaining!
