The Client Brief

We loved collaborating with our delightful St Ives client. She wanted to transform her living room with custom dedicated storage and seating to make her living space more livable and comfortable. 

The Challenge

The challenge was to work within the existing room layout, which included a rustic fireplace and large windows providing a leafy view of the outdoors. 

The Design Solution

A variety of open and closed storage was configured to allow this client to store items away within enclosed cabinetry and an area to have items on display. The custom open shelving on the upper walls kept the room open and airy. Lower cabinetry was designed to provide additional seating for guests furnished with custom cushions for an added layer of comfort and enclosed cabinetry for those items she wanted to store out of sight. 

The Result

A stunning custom joinery solution with a balance of closed and open custom cabinetry delivers greater storage, comfortable seating for entertaining larger crowds and open shelving to display personal momentos, souvenirs and collectibles.
