The Client Brief

We were thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with our incredible client in suburban Sydney! Her kitchen was a bit of a puzzle—not functional and cramped, short on space, and whose look and feel did not reflect her personal style preferences. What she craved was a contemporary kitchen renovation that not only enhanced practicality but also seamlessly connected with her living space. She wanted a new kitchen that was inviting, warm and creative.

The Challenge

Imagine a compact kitchen bursting with potential! Our mission was to transform this kitchen into a haven of space and light, making it flow effortlessly into the adjacent living areas while maximising functionality and storage.

The Design Solution

Out with the old U-shape design that felt like a traffic jam, and in with a sleek galley kitchen! This new layout opened up the room, and freed the existing window to flood the room with beautiful natural light, making it bright and airy. We said goodbye to the servery, a hindrance that impeded connection with the living areas and made way for an expansive island, perfect for casual dining with friends and family. We tucked away a dedicated small appliances zone at the end of the kitchen for a clean, clutter-free look, helping our client keep the space organised and tidy. Flanking the cooktop with stunning tall cabinetry and recessed wall cabinets in a warm timber veneer created a chic cooking zone that was nothing short of a design highlight.

The Result

A renewed space with a kitchen that feels twice the size, bursting with clever storage solutions and a fluid workflow! Our client is now the proud owner of a kitchen that's not just functional but also a stunning backdrop for entertaining and cooking adventures. We're thrilled to watch her thrive in her new kitchen, and we couldn't be happier for her as she starts a new chapter filled with family, friends and delicious meals!
